Dress has cape with gold trim and cowrie shells. Dress has side split below knee adorned with cowrie shells. Dress has detachable train with lace trim around edges and formed in oval shape in back of the train with Sankofa symbol and cowrie shells. Dress has zipper in back. Lined. Man's outfit has agbada and trousers made of aso-ake fabric. Sankofa symbol is stitched onto the middle and back of the agbada. Cowrie shells are placed in a circle around the Sankofa symbol in front of the mans agbada. Aso-ake is hand woven in West Africa with shiny metallic lurex and brightly colored rayon threads.
